Frequently Asked
- 1Is Polishly a detection bypass tool?
- No. Polishly is a writing refinement tool, similar in spirit to Grammarly or a human proofreader. It removes mechanical AI phrasing that makes text read poorly. You are responsible for ensuring your submission complies with your institution's academic integrity policy.
- 2Do you store my text?
- Guest polishes are processed in memory and not persisted. Logged-in users will see their history in a dashboard (coming soon) and can delete it anytime.
- 3Why two separate engines for Chinese and English?
- Every language has its own AI tells. The Chinese engine targets translation-ese and empty flourish; the English engine targets over-used vocabulary like "leverage" and "delve into". Mixing them produces worse output.
- 4Can I lock specific terms?
- Yes. Type a term in the "Locked terms" control and press Enter. It is injected into the prompt as a hard constraint.
